File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Ware irene.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:50, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Irene Ware.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:08, 12 August 2011 (UTC) Thankx for your help! I´m new at this but can do miracles for Wikipedia.[reply]

Some problems with your articles

[edit]

I've been doing some editing of your new articles. There are some things...

  1. Only reliable sources should be used. See WP:SOURCES on what can and can't be used. Ancestry.com, Family Search, user generated genealogy sites and blogs can't be used as anybody can edit the sites... this is the same reason Wikipedia can't be used as reference. You could point to specific info on Ancestry or Family Search such as a birth certificate.
  2. I did a slash and burn on John Edward Chilberg II. Generally long lists of credits shouldn't be listed. Best if you give highlights like you did with Battlestar Galactica. (Sundays at 6pm I was glued watching that show). Long paragraph about the family that is not directly related to him or is not pertinent shouldn't be there.

I think you did a great job on Irene Ware's article. The filmography list should be shortened or just the highlights given in the article.

I've got serious doubts about Chilberg. Non of the sources look good and I doubt is would meet notability guidelines, therefore deleted. I'm not sure what to do about it.

I know you are new to Wikipedia. There are a ton of rules and little things. If you need any help, please contact me on my talk page. Bgwhite (talk) 09:07, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
