No, "Dangerously in Love" by Destiny's Child from the album Survivor was not released but the one on Beyonce's album was a promo single. It even received a gold certification in the US. I want to thank you wholeheartedly. You are a very helpful person. I love working with people like you. So, is "I Am... World Tour" a hit in Australia? Re: No Boys Allowed

This is the international import of the album as explained where it says "Sourced from: International". Whereas this is the Japan release where it correctly says "Sourced from: Japan". Either way I should have replaced the release dates when I cleaned up the release history. My baaddd! I've fixed it up now. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | (talk) 23:47, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Nope... according to all the track listings (iTunes, Amazon, Barnes&Nobel etc.) he's not features. I read it in a blog but its not credited anywhere so I presume not. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | (talk) 00:02, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
Although there is a leaked version of the album with it. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | (talk) 00:07, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
Allmusic confirms it in their review of the album and Cornell Haynes Jr. co-wrote the song so it must be true. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | (talk) 00:13, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
I know but then to be fair Amazon and iTunes don't say that J. Cole is featured on "Buyou". I've added Nelly's feature to the article will Allmusic as a source because allmusic is generally reliable. We can remove afterwards if need be. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | (talk) 00:20, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Jordin Sparks discography

Hi there, thanks for your edits here. In the future, could you please either a) use the show preview button or b) work on a copy of the article in a sandbox or subpage? It's generally discouraged to make a large number of small edits and save the page over and over in a very short period of time, as you've done here. Thanks in advance.
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Jordin Sparks discography, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. - eo (talk) 14:45, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

No Boys Allowed

Hi Oz,

Great work with the album. Just one concern... to justify music samples, which are non-free media, they must be used to discuss or enhance reader understanding. Doing this in albums is harder than singles. However given the music section is well sourced you could justify samples of either "Breaking Point", "Pretty Girl Rock" or "The Way You Love Me". However the sample of "Bahm Bahm" seems a little unjustified since only one review has mentioned it and the comparison to Rihanna is not a recurring them on the album. However the both "BP" and "PGR" recieved lots of comments thus a sample would be justified. Equally there has been a lot of criticism of the album's supposed empowerment and alleged feminism themes thus a sample of "TWYLM" would probably be the best option. As seen at Basic Instinct (album), there has to be a justified description which shows that the sound sample enhances user understanding of the the article/topic. Hope that makes sense? -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 05:01, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Yeah I'd change it to "TWYLM" personally as it has more justification should someone try to delete it later. However remember no version of the album contains the "fuck me" lyrics. Even the parental guidance version contains censored lyrics but I'm sure Hilson said in an interview that the explicit version was omitted so that can be mentioned. with regards to commercial performance if you hang on till tomorrow (its 5am here in the UK and i just got in from a night out LOL) I may be able to make it more like this and this which are examples of previous such sections I've been able to write. If the stars are aligned I may even be able to do it like this but of course it depends on the information available. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 05:17, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
yes apologies for the delay. I had some trouble with a GA nomination. I'll get to it to later today though I can guarantee exactly what I'll be able to expand but it depends simply on what information is reported. I will try my hardest though :) -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 14:44, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Based on the information I can find, this is the best I can do for now. If anything changes of course I'll update it according. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:54, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

"Lose Control" is the best song on the album IMO. Its screaming for a sexy video and single release. Que sexy not slutty like TWYLM!! LOL -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 00:18, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Question

Hi, how are you? Why did you remove your name from the wiki-project? I mean you contribute the most to the article Beyonce Knowles. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:20, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for having faith in me. Jivesh Talk2Me 09:55, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Hi, i hope you are fine. These issues about Beyonce album sales are really bothering me. We need to find reliable sources. It is ridiculous to sat Dangerously in Love sold only 6 million copies when i t managed to sell more than 4.7 million in the US alone (as of 2009). I am not pointing at you. Believe me, please do not get me wrong but we need to fix her sales in a realistic manner. Jivesh Talk2Me 16:13, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey thank you a lot my friend for adding those covers. Jivesh Talk2Me 11:34, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Can you please help me search for live performances of "Crazy in Love" at awards ceremonies, televised shows and charity shows on world tours.? Please. Jivesh Talk2Me 18:27, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Than you infinitely. Really thank you a lot. Jivesh Talk2Me 15:13, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

I just saw your question about the reliability of Sohh.com. Yes, it is reliable. Sorry for late reply. Jivesh Talk2Me 15:47, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Please please add back your name in the Beyonce Wiki-project. I know you believe that you do not contribute so much to Beyonce articles but i think completely the opposite. You always keep a look at her main artist page and especially her discography and trust me you contribute much more the many other participants in the Wiki-project. Please add back your name. You really help a lot. I assure you pf that. Jivesh Talk2Me 17:08, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

I also wish so. It has been so long i have not heard a new song of hers. I just hope it does not leak so that it directly makes a nice debut on the Hot 100. I really cannot wait. And if she delays too much, her album will not be the best selling one in the US in 2011. Jivesh Talk2Me 15:30, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

I just hope the album does well. Jivesh Talk2Me 00:48, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

I guess its Pence. Thank you for replying :) Novice7 | Talk 03:27, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Hmmm.. I'm not sure, but I think a "street single" does not receive official airplay or something like that. It's just something released before the official release, just for promotion. I'm not sure, again. Novice7 | Talk 06:17, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Glad to help. Sorry I couldn't give a solid reply :( Novice7 | Talk 06:38, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Though there isn't a technical definition for street single... I take it to mean a single that iply put out there. It recieves a video, maybe even a cover art but charts from digital album sales. It doesn't recieve an official release date e.g. there's no airplay or purchase date. perfect example is; "The Way You Love Me" - keri hilson. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 16:03, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Exactly :) Novice7 | Talk 16:15, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Well "Look at me Now" by Chris Brown is a single as far as Wikipedia is concerned... released singles to iTunes is good enough for them to be considered official singles. If the album had already been released then it would be a different story. But Rap-Up and other sites have frequently called the song a single, and he's billed it his urban single. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:38, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Look at Me Now was released to radio on February 8, 2011. [5]. You need to archive the source using Webcitation.org ASAP as this will disappear by Monday. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 04:22, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

The article needs a thorough copy edit because its been massively expanded in the last couple of days. If I get chance I will do it myself If not fear not I'll try and do it bit by bit. I think an image from the music video would be good but not sure which frame to use... just yet. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 20:22, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

I'll give it a shot tomorrow at making a music video screenshot. as for the copy editing I may be able to do it but it will have to take a back seat as I'm in process of rewriting Kelly Rowland's third album. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 20:35, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

Jessica Mauboy discography

Sorry about the looooong delay in responding. I don't know if I can find all the directors again but try the following:

  • "Running Back" by Fin Edquist. Simon Walsh, assistant camera operator.
  • "Burn" by Keir McFarlane. Zane Kamat, camera assistant. Also confirms McFarlane for "Been Waiting"
  • "Because" by Mike Corte and David Murrell at vimeo.
  • "Everyone", just a new url needed, see here

Make sure you get these checked for reliability, if you use them you may need to use WebCite or other storage facility to reduce link rot.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 10:54, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Beyonce album

Hi.. I am soooo excited. To tell you frankly,i t is a good thing so that people would not say that she waited for Britney Spears and GaGa's fame to decrease to put out her material SAFELY. Jivesh Talk2Me 00:06, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

She is looking amazing. By the way, i am beginning to realize that you are right. She should have waited for them to slow down a bit, i mean, their fame. But Beyonce will get the support of her true fans. You know, i really feel sorry for Ciara. She should drop her label. Jivesh Talk2Me 15:19, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

I sincerely hope so because non of her singles has ever debuted at number one in the US. But it is practically impossible because she ALWAYS send her singles to radio one or even two months prior their respective digital or physical releases. Jivesh Talk2Me 15:27, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

Oh yes, you are right. This way, she would really taste success. Lol. Do you think she is still into R&B? Jivesh Talk2Me 09:21, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Will that be a record? Is she still doing R&B, according to you? Jivesh Talk2Me 09:33, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

By the way, the link i gave you is from YouTube and Wikipedia does not accept YouTube as a source. So is it unreliable? Jivesh Talk2Me 09:36, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

I am really excited,. I cannot wait. Beyonce is like oxygen for me. I think i will need a pacemaker if she comes with details this month itself. Lol. I have to go now. A lot of homework i s awaiting me. Felt nice to chat with you. You are very polite and kind. Jivesh Talk2Me 09:43, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Before i go, have a look at this. I have fixed it but it is too long. I can assure you that all unnecessary information has already been swept off. Jivesh Talk2Me 09:45, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

It was like that before but a "senior editor" (i don't remember the name) put it that way to save space as the album has a >100 kb article. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:32, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Wait. Can i nominate it for GA now? Jivesh Talk2Me 10:39, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Ok. Thank you. Bye.
