Hello, My name is Ariel. Welcome to my page. Review of article on Stanley McChrystal:

The article itself is lengthy and detailed. It details his record, military life, personal relationship with his wife, and even his upbringing. One thing it didn't mention was more detailed accounts of his time in with each command or the fact that even all this is explained in his memoir. The overall article is a good read for someone looking to learn a little about who the person is. It starts to get someone interested but it should have more to do with his military career in a more separated section. The most it lists about his career in the military is his time as a General Officer and leaves a vague list of all the other parts he was involved in. So I think it could definitely use more in the possible area of his time with the Rangers or as a struggling cadet at West Point.

As I said, most of it is meant to highlight his most notable achievements but I think the small details are what make the story worth diving into. Most people fail to see that he was actually one of the few military officers who did not get into media trouble, criminal trouble or become known for something embarrassing with the public.
