February 2024
[edit]Hello, I'm Jetstreamer. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Turkish Airlines, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jetstreamer Talk 12:56, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
- I see, I will remove mentions of it on the destinations page also. Lifetimelucid (talk) 13:02, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
Lists of airline destinations
[edit]Hi Lifetimelucid, I saw that you nominated some lists of airline destinations for deletion via PROD. Per this discussion it is recommended that editors follow the Articles for Deletion (AfD) process instead in order to nominate these lists for deletion. This is the most recent AfD discussion, which I started: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of United Airlines destinations.
Now that over 20 AfDs have taken place, I think it is time to bundle the remaining stand-alone lists into a single AfD. However, some of these list articles include history sections, like this one. The information is basically an abbreviated version of the history section of the article about the airline, and should be merged into it. After this has been done, it would be appropriate to start that AfD. Let me know if you are interested in collaborating on the AfD. Sunnya343 (talk) 20:42, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- I wouldn't mind collaborating on it. Lifetimelucid (talk) 20:48, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- Sounds good. I should have some time to work on this in a few weeks, I will let you know. Sunnya343 (talk) 22:05, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- Got it. Lifetimelucid (talk) 22:12, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- I apologize for forgetting to consult you previously about the AfD as I had promised. Sunnya343 (talk) 15:33, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- It's fine. Lifetimelucid (talk) 11:44, 29 March 2024 (UTC)

Please refrain from removing destination charts as there is ongoing debate if we should do so, there is currently *no* concensus as you state, so please refrain from major changes if you do not comprehend how this Wiki works as a new user as this is considered vandalism. Please also make yourself more familiar with our guidelines, especially the mandatory use of sources and citations for every implemented change as you added or changed a lot of content without explaining why - we have policies and guidelines for both content and style of which both you not seem to familiar enough yet, e. g. removing "pointless charter flights" which our guidelines clearly say are to be included etc. You did considerable damage to otherwise well maintained articles by more experienced users. - Best regards.
- The "removing pointless charter flights" edits were made in January. Is the ongoing debate about removing destination charts here? because if so, I have seen them. However, the airBaltic edit I made removing the destination charts happened before the newer RFC about deleting certain destination pages, the edit on airBaltic was based off of consensus from the 2018 RFC.
