Membrane Distillation

[edit]

https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Membrane_distillation 1. The article is very long but only few references are cited in it. In the paragraph "Vacuum multi-effect membrane distillation", there is even no citation. For the article to be more reliable, more citations should be added in this article. 2. Six applications of membrane distillation are listed under the subtitle of Applications, but no further descriptions of the applications are written. Giving some examples allows the reader to better understand the concept of membrane distillation. Liam LH (talk) 16:42, 13 March 2018 (UTC) Liam LH[reply]

Finding possible topics

[edit]

Topic 1. Synthetic membrane I can write more details in the paragraph of ceramic membranes and surface chemistry. For the ceramic membranes, I would like to introduce the advantages and preparation methods. For the surface chemistry, I can introduce the concept of hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity and their importance on membranes. In addition, more references should be added. Topic 2. Membrane I can add more details in the paragraph of membrane processes classifications. For example, I can give more descriptions about different filtration processes. In addition, I can write a new paragraph about membrane configurations. Sources a) Van der Bruggen, Bart, et al. Topic 3. Membrane Distillation I can write more details in the paragraph of applications. The applications of membrane distillation include water purification, wastewater treatment, and resource recycling. Moreover, the references should be added for vacuum multi-effect membrane distillation. Sources a) Alkhudhiri, Abdullah, Naif Darwish, and Nidal Hilal.
