First: The Edgar Thomson Steel Works is not in Pittsburgh. It is within Allegheny County, but it is outside of the borders of the City of Pittsburgh. Second: adding "Yinzer" as a demonym is borderline vandalism. It is not an official term, which is reason enough to exclude it, but it can carry harsh negative connotations as well. For analogy's sake, imagine that someone edited the Appalachia article to state that the official demonym of Appalachia is "hillbilly" or "redneck". Some people may use those terms with pride, just as some people use "yinzer" with pride, but in the larger language community, these are all terms of discrimination and exclusion. —Bill Price (nyb) 20:17, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In reponse, First: you're getting nitpicky. The Edgar Thomson Steel work is only 1 mile from the city limits. So it is in what is known as the Great Pittsburgh Region. So for all intensive purposes, it fits to mention it in the article. Not all steel plants in the Pittsburgh area are closed. In reponse to the second item, I'll simply say "Grow up". It "is" demonym, whether you like to admit it or not. Don't take yourself so seriously.
