Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Social conservatism in the United States, you may be blocked from editing. tgeorgescu (talk) 17:23, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me, and I am trying to keep out the logical fallacy of hasty generalization. You are writing that all social conservatives agree to gender roles, women staying at home and not in the workplace, no gay rights at all, and more, basically just describing the radical wing of it; therefore, it has been hastily generalized that because somebody believes in ___ it means that all believe in it? Trust me, I am trying to not leave bias, and please tell me if it sounds biased and what to change, but saying that all social conservatives espouse a specific belief is misinforming those searching for a response as to what the ideology is. By the way, am I expected to write entire paragraphs as to why I made the changes or something, that you say that I did not present an adequate explanation? Also, there is no need for coercion, the "talk" button is there for some reason. Leyenda Anfibia (talk) 22:04, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The recommended method is to find other WP:RS in order to qualify that statement. tgeorgescu (talk) 22:15, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Honestly, I have a lot of things to do and really am not sure about how to do citations. I do know what I wrote as background evidence (that social conservatives adopting such measures such as no women in the workforce are extremists), but of course my thoughts do not qualify as proper evidence obviously. That is my justification for changing it to "some" instead of hastily generalizing it as all being extremists as I feel you did, and could be proven that you did.
