Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Thank you for reviewing the article. The article discusses the Bio of lawyer Dan Eid similar to other wikipedia pages of Lawyers in Lebanon... Category:Lebanese lawyers

I am not sure why mine specifically was considered as advertisement knowing that there was no promotions involved...

Hi,

Firstly, the draft is very promotional. As there is no indication of notability in it, its whole purpose is clearly to 'spread awareness' etc., and this by definition is promotion; see WP:YESPROMO.

Secondly, not only that, but there is PEACOCK language throughout, with expressions like "Today, Dan Eid is recognized as one of the most accomplished and respected lawyers in their field, with a reputation for their expertise, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to their clients" – this would be OTT even on LinkedIn, and wholly inappropriate in an encyclopaedia.

Thirdly, whether other articles exist on Lebanese lawyers is neither here nor there, as we assess drafts against current guidelines and policies, not against pre-existing articles. (If you feel that some of these other articles do not meet the required standards, you are welcome to propose their deletion, of course.)

Finally, I note that you haven't yet responded to the COI query I posted earlier on this page, and would ask that you do that now. Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:26, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
