Speedy deletion nomination of Chicago electric bicycles
[edit]A tag has been placed on Chicago electric bicycles requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ClubOranjeT 10:12, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Stealth Cruiser.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Stealth Cruiser.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:05, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Cycling in Chicago do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Ebikeguy (talk) 16:13, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

Revert of Your Recent Edits
[edit]I reverted your recent edits to Electric bicycles. You referenced a battery chemistry that is not commonly used. You also changed the caption of a photo to one containing less accurate language; "Moped style" is a common label given to non-pedelec ebikes. Your statement about folding ebikes has merit, but since you did not reference with a reliable source, I deleted it temporarily. Let's both try to find a good citation for folding ebikes, and reinsert the language when we do. Please, don't be discouraged. I think you could add good information to the article once you get the hang of editing Wikipedia. Let me know if I can help! Ebikeguy (talk) 03:28, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
- OK. I found a site for folding ebikes, so I reinserted the language. Ebikeguy (talk) 03:35, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Chicago electric bicycles, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]Hello, I'm Barek. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Chicago seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. Note also that mention of the Willis Tower being the tallest building in Chicago is already mentioned in at least two other sections within the article - no need to repeatedly state the same thing in yet another section. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 23:34, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
