Speedy deletion nomination of Harmel Rayat

[edit]

Hello LessThanEvil,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Harmel Rayat for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Itsalleasy (talk) 18:51, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message. LessThanEvil (talk) 13:22, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear LessThanEvil: I see that you've created the above article, but a lot of the sources you have added appear to be press releases, so as soon as the New Page Patrol folks come by it's sure to be tagged for lack of independent sources. On the other hand, there's an old abandoned draft article here: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Colocation America (2) that has some different sources. It will soon be deleted, but if any of the sources have not been written by or for the company, maybe you can use them to support the facts in your article. —Anne Delong (talk) 23:13, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Everyday Loans has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No significant coverage from third party sources, fails WP:CORP

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Colocation America (company), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. A tag has been placed on Biowars requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay.
