[edit]This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sockpuppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. Request reason:
I stated that "Necatorina" was my previous account on my user page here and on Turkish wikipedia. I had to "vanish" my account due to my passwords and email being stolen. I never violated any policy here. LesChloroformistes (talk) 10:54 am, 30 December 2024, last Monday (4 days ago) (UTC−9)
Decline reason:
No, you did not have to vanish your previous account. If you indicated it was comromised, it could simply be blocked for that, and you'd have been free to start a new account . Also, you set up this account ten months ago, but didn't use it until after your other account was vanished. This is a wiki, everything is logged and easiy to find for admins, so I am left wondering why you set this up as an alternative account months before your other account was supposedly compromised.
Your other account was briefly blocked, and then less two days later, according to what you would have us believe, your login was stolen and you lost control of it. Yet you also say you had to have it vanished. How you were even able to do that if you were not in control of the account?
By asking for vanishing, you are voluntarily making an agreement that you will never edit Wikipedia again under any identity. The only way out of this that I can see is if you agree to the unvanishing of the old account, and for your block log to be ammended to note the previous account.
I do my best to assume good faith, as we are all asked to do, but your story doesn't add up. You entered into an agreement, and now you have broken the terms of that agreement. If you didn't bother to read the terms of what you were agreeing to, which are very straightforward and clear, that's on you, not us. You are of course free to file a new unblock request, but I can't see any admin accepting it if you don't agree to the vanishing being reversed, and this account being explicitly linked to it in the logs. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Courtesy vanishing is intended as a permanent step. By returning to editing, you have violated the behavioural guidelines around vanishing. At the least, that would call for your old account to be unbanished and linked to this one—including the blocks that were applied to the old account. —C.Fred (talk) 20:10, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- Why did you delete my message on your talk page? I opposed your revert because it was wrong, the content i removed from the article was irrelevant and wrong. LesChloroformistes (talk) 20:13, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- My old account was not banned and I did not break any guidelines on it either. LesChloroformistes (talk) 20:16, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- But you do acknowledge that you were blocked for edit warring and incivility with your old account, correct? —C.Fred (talk) 21:56, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- I was blocked from editing only 1 single page for 24 hours. LesChloroformistes (talk) 22:02, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Beeblebrox: how do I send an unvanishing request? I made this account months ago for using in unsafe network, you said that you looked into "all logs" but missed this one where I mentioned that I created this account for unsafe networks and as a possible future bot (in Turkish). LesChloroformistes (talk) 01:30, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Pretty lame to try and use a log on a different project in a different language, with different rules, as some sort of "gotcha" like I actually should have been expected to even check there, which is not the case. I don't know or care what you did on the Turkish Wikipedia, they run their affairs, we run ours.
- If you agree to the unvanishing, you can just say so here and it can be done. Beeblebrox Beebletalks 01:38, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Who do I ask for it? LesChloroformistes (talk) 01:43, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Bit surprised to see this sort of interaction on my watchlist, especially following the events of the last few weeks. @Beeblebrox Quit the interrogation and stop trying to make this user jump through bureaucratic hoops- they made it about as clear as possible that they wished to return, they voluntarily and very openly linked themselves to their old account, and got blocked by an admin whose view of socking is... well, you were on Arbcom. Stop calling them "lame" and stop assuming bad faith because they misunderstood the correct procedures to follow after an account compromise. GreenLipstickLesbian (talk) 02:00, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comment. I did not prefer to specify what exactly happened to my previous account because I was being stalked off-site. I did not even know that using/having an alt on English Wikipedia was against the rules, I primarily use Turkish Wikipedia which I'm more used to the rules of (for example, it is allowed to have multiple accounts there and you are not required to mention it as long as you aren't doing anything against the rules). Not a sockpuppet.
[edit]@JJMC89: The email of my previous account was stolen, altogether with my emails. I had to "vanish" it because of that. LesChloroformistes (talk) 20:02, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
