Hello, LenaLerner and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Thegooduser Let's Chat 🍁 01:58, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Nikki Haley

[edit]

Hi! I didn't know if you were interested on editing on Haley for your main assignment or not. If so, then just be aware that the article is more closely monitored because it's held under sanctions due to it being an article that discusses politics after 1932 in the US. (IE, a topic that needs to be more closely monitored than others.) What this means for you if you edit this article is that you'll have to make sure that your edits are as neutral as possible and use the best, strongest possible sourcing. You should also review the talk page for any pertinent discussions and if any edits are removed, you must discuss them on the article's talk page before re-adding them. (It's good to do this for all articles, but especially if you're planning on making major contributions to a politics related article.)

Cheers! I just wanted to give you a head's up. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:12, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
