WP:EW Edit Warring

[edit]

Hi, Left of Palin. I must caution you that you are quickly approaching the limit of edit warring by making blanket reversions on the Susan Hutchison article. Persistent blanket reversions without providing any reason is considered disruptive. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort and the proper procedure for disputing content issues is to discuss the changes. This is done on the article talk page as well as in edit summaries. (Additionally, The BRD guideline can provide some helpful tips. At the moment, I am unable to understand why you continue to revert the Lede paragraph. The changes you are making go against our standard policies -- by adding unnecessary bolding, removal of proper links, use of peacock terms, and addition of details already included in the text body. Please make your reasons clear by discussing changes on the Talk:Susan Hutchison page before making any more reversions. You should also do this on the Talk:Dow Constantine article as well. Thank you. CactusWriter | needles 12:19, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have left a summary of my reasons for rewriting the introduction on the article talk page at Talk:Susan Hutchison. I am always willing to discuss changes. Please address any concerns you have there. CactusWriter | needles 13:31, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, I have requested a neutral review of your editing and for the general editing problems at Susan Hutchison and Dow Constantine. You may respond at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Need a brief review. CactusWriter | needles 20:26, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Use of multiple accounts

[edit]

It looks to me like multiple users are editing from your connection, including the following:

Could you please explain the relationship between these accounts? Please bear in mind that repeatedly switching accounts to edit the same article may be a violation of Wikipedia's sock puppetry policy. – Luna Santin (talk) 20:49, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Susan Hutchison. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/He pled guilty for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. Nja247 07:58, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet. (blocked by MuZemike 02:42, 31 October 2009 (UTC))[reply]
