Fragile X syndrome

[edit]

I undid your edit to Fragile X syndrome as it was unreferenced. Adding references is how we ensure that content is valid. Without references, a reader can not easily validate information and there is no presumption of accuracy. To add a reference, please read Help:Referencing for beginners and Help:footnotes. There is a tool that can help: See wp:RefToolbar/2.0. This is covered by the Wikipedia policy of wp:verifiability (WP:V). Please wp:cite your edits with wp:reliable sources (RS). Per WP:V unsourced content can be removed. Your edits are saved in the wp:page history. Please add references when you restore the content. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 08:20, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also, given the nature of the subject, any medical information such as diagnosis, prognoses, treatment, etc. needs to cite wp:RSMED sources. Jim1138 (talk) 08:20, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

My apology

[edit]

It appears that you did cite sources. I misread your edit. I will restore the content now. Again, my apology. Jim1138 (talk) 08:24, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

What is the full name of Am J Ment Retard.? Presumably American Journal on Mental Retardation? Do you have the PMID for the article? That is good to add to the reference. It goes into the {{cite journal}} as "|PMID= " Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 08:33, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, we couldn't find a doi since it's such an old publication but we do have an ERIC #. It seems to have been referred to "Am J Ment Retard" in the past but is the American Journal of Mental Deficiency. It likely more appropriate to find a current abb. I will be sure to add these changes soon.Leburne (talk) 01:54, 17 October 2017 (UTC)leburne[reply]
