Conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Lealcool. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. – Athaenara ✉ 15:46, 11 October 2019 (UTC)

Request to unblock my account
[edit]Lealcool (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
My submission was rejected because it included copy right contents (an article on Medium). But the article was written by myself and I don't see a problem copying directly from there. What should I do now to get my account unlocked? Would appreciate your help!
Decline reason:
You would need to properly release text you wrote elsewhere, see WP:DCP. You can't just use it here, even if you wrote it. However, the reason for the block is promotional editing. If you are associated with Hoo.com, you must review WP:COI and WP:PAID and explain what you will edit about going forward. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 07:50, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- (edit conflict) (I was going to say,) I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you at this time.
To be unblocked, please read and heed WP:COI and WP:PAID.
You will need to agree not to edit about or link to hoo.com.
You must agree not to add content copyrighted elsewhere. Even if you own the content's copyright. Please see user:deepfriedokra/g12. All content on Wikipedia must state that it is creative commons, GFDL or public domain on the source, however, please read user:deepfriedokra/g12.
Please tell us what constructive edits you would make.-- Deepfriedokra 07:55, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
