Laws of war
[edit]I have deleted your recent edit to laws of war because most of it did not cite sources, and those parts that did seems to have used web sites and not books of journals. (see WP:SOURCES) the work had some factual errors for example the section on Rome did not include the influence of Christianity on the view of the Romans about war. Further the Romans also had a moral outlook on war aside from expressed by Christians. For example "solitudinem faciunt, pacem appellant". The POV on A. Lincoln was not acceptable, as it is very one sided, it is American concentric, and it is not at all clear that the American Civil War it had any influence on the Great Power's behaviour in their wars. --PBS (talk) 12:08, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
