Proposed deletion of Meriton Towers
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Meriton Towers, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Peripitus (Talk) 03:03, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Image:ImageServer-1.png
[edit]A tag has been placed on Image:ImageServer-1.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:ImageServer-1.png|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Request reason:
I was unsure of what was copyright, considering i wasn't told off until the 7th image was posted. If i had known earlier, the images would not of been posted
Decline reason:
Almost every single deletion tag makes reference to "Blatant copyright infringement" furthermore, you stated when you uploaded those images "I created this work work entirely by myself" which is, of course, clearly untrue. I will however, leave a note with the blocking admin to see what they think –xenocidic (talk) 02:16, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
As the administrator who doled out the block, I am willing to unblock based on two criteria: 1) That you thoroughly read over copyright policy, especially in regards to image guidelines; 2) That you read over the copyright FAQ; 3) And that you read over image copyright tags. Uploading copyrighted images and then labelling them as your own is wholly inappropriate and is in violation of copyright policy, and you were well aware of that from the date of your account creation to the numerous warnings that you received.
Please be more mindful in the future. If you agree to this, I will unblock, but be aware that any infractions can lead to severe sanctions. seicer | talk | contribs 03:02, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: Brisbane
[edit]Hi, I'm assuming you're referring to this edit, as I beleive it is the only edit I've ever made to Brisbane. I reverted the edits by 124.185.185.173 as they produced a broken version of the page ([1]), which made them appear to be test edits. It was not my intention to make edits related to policy or the content of the page; rather, I was looking for vandalism. I have no opinion about the actual content of the article; sorry if I made a mistake here. CCG (T-C) 01:57, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
- Please do not refer the surrounding shires/cities as a part of "Metropolitan Brisbane" as technically they are not controlled by Brisbane. Those areas are a part of "Greater Brisbane", but technically outer areas such as Ipswich and Caboolture are a part of South East Queensland. --Arnzy (talk · contribs) 04:13, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:08, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for experimenting with the page South East Queensland on Wikipedia. Your recent edit appears to have added incorrect information, and has been reverted or removed. All information in the encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable published source. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them. Your edit summary usage
[edit]Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.--Sting Buzz Me... 23:37, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

- Lav 90, I've just deleted Image:Visionmargaretstdq8.jpg as it is clearly a commercial artists rendering with no licence information or claim of fair use. You have been blocked for uploads similar to this, twice, and I hope this final warning note will deter you in the future. Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Brisbane. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. [edit]Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Brisbane. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, your edits will be considered vandalism and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mvjs (talk) 06:13, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Please remember to provide an edit summary when editing articles. This summary appears in the article's revision history and and diff page, in the watchlists of users who are watching that article, and in the Recent changes list. Providing an edit summary really helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you have changed, and we ask that you assist with this. Thank you. SEO75 [talk] 04:57, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Meriton Tower 2. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, your edits will be considered vandalism and you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You've been warned repeatedly for this. Do not add any further content without proper citations from reliable sources. Mvjs (talk) 06:21, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as the one you made to Crime in Brisbane. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. The article has suffered significantly from credibility issues in the past, and not citing your potentially inflammatory claims will not assist in it being a credible, encyclopedic one. SEO75 [talk] 02:31, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- Please provide a reference that backs-up your claim that Crime in Brisbane "is increasing quite rapidly". The opening sentence is already begging a reference, and without one then your edit appears to be original research. Thanks. SEO75 [talk] 05:30, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of 275 George Street
[edit]A tag has been placed on 275 George Street requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Tohd8BohaithuGh1 (talk) 01:02, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Once again, please remember to provide an edit summary when editing articles. This helps us understand at a glance what you have changed in the edit, as it appears in the article's revision history and diff page, in the watchlists of users who are watching that article, and in the Recent changes list. In addition, you may wish to try using the "Preview" button rather than "Save page" to test your contribution and see if it is okay before publishing (and you'd only have to provide one edit summary too!). If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Brisbane, you will be blocked from editing. . Please do not keep changing the infobox without consensus, as this is was the agreed picture and layout as per discussion by editors on the Talk:Brisbane page. If you keep changing the infobox without discussing on the talk page, you will be reported and possibly blocked from editing --Arnzy (talk · contribs) 03:03, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
- Lav90, I really suggest you heed these warnings. Your edits that blatantly go against the consensus in addition to adding false protection templates are disruptive. You've been warned numerous times and your edits (as below) have been brought up at WP:ANI. MvjsTalking 09:44, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
WP:ANI notice
[edit]There is a discussion about your editing at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#User:Lav90. I want to comment that if you are in fact a previously blocked user using an alternate account to avoid the block, that alone is grounds for this account to be blocked. I would suggest that you return to your primary account and request an unblock there, and resume with a single edit history. Otherwise, if you go to another account and we find it (and there are other methods for us to do it), I have no problem blocking every account on site and forcing you to use one account. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 07:51, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
Blocked
[edit]You were warned before, you were even blocked before at User talk:Tasos90. If you create another account and start again, I will immediately blocked it permanently and go for harsher measures. I would suggest you go back to your primary account, request an unblock and learn to discuss your views with others. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 17:36, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
