Just a suggestion: create a sub-page to work on your proposed article, e.g. follow this link User:Laurenclifford/Security of Self-Esteem and edit. That keeps the article cleanly separate from your user page.

[edit]Yes, it's a good practice to prepare an article in your own user space before putting it in the main article space. I don't dispute that's good advice. I was just suggesting you might find it easier as a separate page in your own userspace, rather than on your user page: that's what User:Laurenclifford/Security of Self-Esteem means.
