Peak Time Kids Club
[edit]Hi Laura, and welcome to Wikipedia. I just thought I'd explain why I've removed the material you've added to the Hathersage article about Peak Time Kids Club. Although anyone can edit Wikipedia, to maintain its integrity and independence there are conventions and rules about promotion and advertising, and about balancing important and unimportant facets of the subject. A local after-school club might warrant a single brief mention in an article about a village, but not the large amount of detail you've been adding. Also, if you're involved in the club (which I suspect is the case) then there are policies about conflict of interest that might apply. Have a look at the following guidelines: WP:PROMO, WP:UNDUE, WP:NOTDIRECTORY, WP:SPA and WP:COI. If you're here to share your knowledge (with suitable citations, properly formatted) and improve Wikipedia for its readers, you'll be welcome. If you're only here to promote a business or organisation, please reconsider. Thanks. Dave.Dunford (talk) 10:25, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that in this edit to Hathersage, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 10:38, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Hathersage. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. - Please see wp:What Wikipedia is not. Please use an encyclopedic wp:tone and cite wp:reliable sources: wp:citing sources. Content needs to be relevant and wp:DUE - wp:Relevance of content. Facilities, such as a nursery are probably not unless is is something unusual. If you have a question, the best place to ask is the wp:Teahouse.
You made this change to Hathersage. The link in the citation was 404. Please verify fix citations cites. I added a cite for the train and updated the Bus - 271 272 URL here. Achmad Rachmani add the 257 bus link here
An Indoneasian and a Yank fixing the Hathersage. Tsk tsk Thank you Adakiko (talk) 18:05, 30 August 2023 (UTC)
