File source problem with File:Caprice_headshot.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Caprice_headshot.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:58, 29 July 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 12:58, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional editing

[edit]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Caprice Bourret. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 13:10, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Warning
Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing at Caprice Bourret. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. The main problem is that the image appears to be copied from a source on the web, and the information you are adding sounds very promotional and has no sourcing. You should discuss the specific changes you wish to make at Talk:Caprice Bourret since you are currently violating WP:3RR with your continuous reversions. Please read the messages above, and let me know if I can help. Thank you. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 14:00, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
