The article Georgy Mihailovich Kondratiev has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. --  Kethrus |talk to me  15:44, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Article with lack of reliable sources - Georgy Mihailovich Kondratiev

[edit]

Dear Kethrus, you reviewed my article, devoted to Georgy Mihailovich Kondratiev and decide that article need mode reliable sources. I add two references to the reliable sources. First one is ITMO University virtual Museum article, devoted to Georgy Kondratiev. Second is reference to ITMO University book The Best Scientists of ITMO. I hope this is enough for this article. Looking forward to you decision! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Latosh Boris (talkcontribs) 16:08, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Latosh Boris: A good standard is to have at least 3 to 4 references per article. If you can find any more references, and back up everything said in the article - the tag can be removed. Please remember to sign your comments with ~~~~ --  Kethrus |talk to me
@Kethrus: I add two more references to Russian newspapers with articles, devoted to Georgy Mihailovich Kondratiev at the article page. Should I add few more references? Latosh Boris (talk) 17:10, 8 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. I'm referring to the citation spam that you've been adding to dozens of articles, always referring to the marginal academic journals from the same publisher. Disruptive editing

[edit]

Dear Qwertyus, I received you message about my editing, that makes an impression of spam. I don't want to make that kind of impression and don't want to be blocked from editing. I also thought that my corrections will fit the articles, perhaps I was wrong, but I never intended to spread a spam. Should I stop referring that particular journals (Scientific and Technical Journal of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, The journal is published by St Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics, Nanosystems: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or I just misplaced my corrections? Latosh Boris (talk) 15:13, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a directory of publications. If we would add all publications, Wikipedia would be useless. Avoid adding references that are not cited. Preferrably, use references that have been cited unusually often. Always prefer an English reference, for English Wikipedia. It is not about completeness, but about having peer-reviewed, notable sources. --HelpUsStopSpam (talk) 22:01, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
