  1. Hi! Feedback on your proposed submission.

Forest Stabilizing Feedbacks and Non-Forest Stabilizing Feedbacks I think that this is a really important topic in and of itself: what does it mean, is there such thing as a "stable" forest system, etc. I also think the idea of exploring this within the context of a region like southwest Oregon is particularly useful for multiple reasons. One, it helps me think about a subject better when I have a place or position to consider it in, and two, there is so much variety in that part of Oregon, you'll have plenty to talk about and work with. I don't want to say too much more before you have more up, but so far I'm excited about the topic and the possibilities available here. Great work!! -Chantel Paleo_Broad 00:59, 27 November 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chantel Saban (talkcontribs)

feedback for the fire class

[edit]
  1. Nice proposed addition to the Douglas-fir article. It looks like there are three articles: one for the species, and one each for the subspecies. I think, correctly, the article for the species is rather brief, but the subspecies (variety) articles have more detail because there are ecological differences between var. menziesii and var. glauca. I went ahead and added your proposed edit to the var. menziesii article, because that section on succession needed some major help.
  2. We already discussed your article topic. You could create a stub for the article soon, as a start. It might get some comments from other users as you write it.
