Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to The Price Is Right (U.S. game show), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.
Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but we regretfully cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you.— DædαlusT@lk / Improve\ Contribs 21:34, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Re: My problem
[edit]Apparently you don't, because if you did, you would know that WP cannot be cited as a source, and you must list a 3rd party source as a reference to include the information. A video site is not a 3rd party source, a newspaper or magazing however, would be.— DædαlusT@lk / Improve\ Contribs 03:04, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Even more so, you've been editing here for all of 2 days. I hardly believe you know every policy and guideline here, especially considering your behavior.— DædαlusT@lk / Improve\ Contribs 03:06, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- Screw it, add the info back in if you want, I won't remove it, but I don't advise it. I'm too tired to do anything more.— DædαlusT@lk / Improve\ Contribs 03:34, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- I will see if Ricki still has her page on her site about this, there isn't too much information on this version anyhow, the overseas version of Gameshow Marathon has much more information, but that is unrelated to ours. You sure seem to be a stickler about 3rd party infomation. Nothing wrong with that, but half this encyclopedia would need deleted if that policy were enforced 100% of the time.
- I don't know if this is my last edit today or not, I really feel like crap, I'm all shakey. Probably has to do with lack of sleep and food. Anyway, although on some subjects I can be a deletionist(instead of trying to find sources, I delete the edit) ... I don't know where I was going with this, but I do know it had something to do with the fact that it depends on the user, and sometimes, said user shall go and search out for sources. I can't think straight. Goodnight for now maybe. Sometimes I can be a wikiholic.— DædαlusT@lk / Improve\ Contribs 04:30, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds kind of serious, and no harm meant in my comments. It just seems some people get trigger happy on here, and I didn't realize you were going for quality, I thought you were a troll at first. Anyhow, I feel your pain, I sometimes wonder if I need to take a day or two off the computer altogether. We have become so addicted to technology, I sometimes wonder if it is even worth the hassle. LOL. Seriously, you might need a day or two downtime, and I'll be on vacation in a few weeks myself, I don't know if I am taking with notebook computer with me or not. [edit]Well, I guess I was fooled. I'll have to be more careful in the future, Hdayejr. Checkuser confirms it.— DædαlusT@lk / ImproveContribs 11:07, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
