Request reason:
The following has been copied from this thread.
Hi TonyBallioni, I have been editing Wikipedia for a while now primarily as an anti-vandal user. I woke up today and went to edit an article only to find I had been blocked.
When visiting my user page I found my account has been associated with as a sockpuppet. I have never had a Wikipedia account before now and have never received any type of warning or telling off on Wikipedia. I had nearly reached the 1000 edit mark and was likely to be given rollback soon as assistance in fighting vandalism. When I looked into the sockpuppet investigation I found all of the other accounts in question to of violated Wikipedias policies.
I am not an expert in IP address assignment but do know my IP address is of type 'dynamic'. Can someone more experienced please look into this, even if it involves looking through my past contributions/talk page archives/cross-wiki etc? Please look into this as I enjoy editing Wikipedia and was only getting started with more advanced edits. After all, I only wanted to update Belle Delphine's subscriber count today! (Belle Delphine She now has over 1 Million!) Landihan--Landihan
- Comment: As examples of my Wikipedia edits please see the following pages which I created and primarily added to (although I don't own obviously) Aquakultre • The Fifth Vital • Black Dog • Dutchavelli--Landihan (talk) 10:42, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I've looked into it, and it's pretty obvious that you're a sock puppet. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 21:17, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
A note from Landihan
[edit]Hi all on Wikipedia. On the 19th of June 2020 this account Landihan was blocked by a CheckUser. According to the Wikipedia:Sock puppetry grounds for checking there was no reason to check this account. I have no past vandal history and no reason to suspect me of any wrongdoing. I had made 950+ edits, mainly focused around anti-vandalism which have been received with many thanks and even barnstars. I do not have any association with any of the accounts mentioned in the sock puppetry investigation. I have studied other editors who have large edit counts (into the 100s of thousands) who left Wikipedia due to the structure around admins and checkusers. I do not know in detail how IP addresses are assigned but any CheckUser should have a good understanding of the subject they are dealing with. This is not me saying CheckUsers don’t exist, but instead me saying they need to be less quick and study the context more. On an unblock thread found here an editor has spent time looking through my account and would unblock me but they are not a checkuser. I am not criticising all CheckUsers and am not directly attacking any either but typing this to provide feedback on Wikipedia’s structure as a whole. Feel free to share this little paragraph.
