I created the page--and I will add the proper citations as soon as I can. The subject does, I believe, meet the noterity requirements and I under-estimated the speed with which it would be checked.

I've got no objections, but yeah, you should be rather quick. I've got nothing against the page staying, of course, if the article asserts anything that meets WP:NMUSIC. If you fail to find proper sources soon, I think this could be userfied (=moved to your user space) instead of deletion, so you can keep working on it until it's ready.
