Bibliographic practice
[edit]- In English-language usage, when providing bibliographic information about a book, it is usual practice to first give the place of publication ("Warsaw", "London"), then the name of the publisher ("Paňstwowe Wydawnictwo Naukowe", "Simon and Schuster").

Speedy deletion nomination of Julio Cabrera (disambiguation)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Julio Cabrera (disambiguation), requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. (See section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Wikipedia has standards for the minimum necessary information to be included in short articles; you can see these at Wikipedia:Stub. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Disambiguation link notification for November 26
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Antinatalism, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Depression, Extermination and Exclusion (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:21, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Your signature's time stamp formatting
[edit]Hello Laen1, I've noticed that your signatures end in "(UTC+1)" instead of the usual "(UTC)". This can cause difficulties for other users ability to understand the timeline of posts on a talkpage and can prevent some bots from knowing when to archive a section. To help alleviate this problem and the potential for others, I would greatly appreciate it if you changed your signature so that it listed the time of your posts in UTC. For details on related policy, see Wikipedia:Signatures.
If you would like to see talkpage comments, both yours and others, in terms of your local time zone you can enable the gadget marked "Change UTC-based times and dates, such as those used in signatures, to be relative to local time" under the "Appearance" section of your gedget preferences. Thanks. —The Editor's Apprentice (talk) 23:55, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

[edit]About antinatalists "community letter"
[edit]Hi, please take a look at Talk:Antinatalism at the discussion near the bottom "About anonymous writers "warning" about a dangerous antinatalist-adjacent group". Your input would be greatly appreciated.

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Antinatalism. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Pipsally (talk) 08:19, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
