[edit]Right now, this is too much of a generic essay rather than an informative article. Not only have you not cited any of the information you provide, but the tone is much too casual and biased. This isn't an argument about whether or not the street should be renamed. It is a collection of facts about the street.
The article is also missing all the unique details of a Wikipedia article: lead section, headings, table of contents, infobox, images, etc.
