[edit]"Want to talk"
[edit]Hi. I have a few problems with your approach:
- You didn't sign your post. That's a pretty fundamental omission.
- You say you want to talk, but I'm supposed to be inspired as to what you want to talk about.
- Even if you did give a full description of what you wanted to talk about - a common courtesy would be to fully describe your position on my talk page.
Given your actions I have no intention of being pro-active. If you have something to discuss put in a bit of effort. Mark83
- Thank your for being clearer. I only reverted your edit because you created a heading with no information. That just didn't make sense to me. From viewing the edit summary I see you actually created information for that heading in later edits - that's fair enough. As for both the heading and info being deleted after that? Nothing to do with me. Mark83 23:29, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Listen. Just in case my last comment didn't make clear - sorry for being a bit abrupt! As for restoring the edit - here's the problem: apart from the crossovers (e.g. Focus) the list is 100% US-centric. Also it totally ignores Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo (to name a few). I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Ford vs. Chevy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - I've deleted the above article. Like most of your edits, it seems to have been a test. I'm trying to be patient with you, but your disruption is really getting out of control. If you don't stop creating pages and making disruptive edits I'm going to have no choice but to block you for good. So please take the time to learn what you are doing and use your sandbox if you want to experiment. Kafziel Talk 23:44, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
I was just trying to gather a few opinions. What was wrong with my page? --LSXsound 23:47, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- This is an encyclopedia, not a place to gather opinions. I don't want to be patronizing here, but I don't know anything about you (age, native language, nationality, etc) so I have to ask: do you know what an encyclopedia is? Kafziel Talk 23:50, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, but did you think about Talk:FoxTrot? An encyclopedia is an area in which knowledge can be learned from passages. I was trying to get the knowledge of Ford and Chevy lovers. By the way, do you know or ever have talked to Rilliden --LSXsound
- The problem with this addition was that it was forum-like (and by definition unencyclopedic). Don't get me wrong, I'm an F1 fan and would love to talk about so many issues about the new season on the talk pages. Unfortunately this isn't the place. Mark83 00:03, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

F1
[edit]Oh come on mate! You don't know about Formula One? :) If you do good. If you don't I'd love to send you a DVD of Sunday's Malaysian Grand Prix - it's nearly all you need to know about the sport. Mark83 00:14, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- They did indeed make the F1. More a fan of the SLR myself! Mark83 00:23, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Your experiments
[edit]Okay, this is it: your last warning. I've tried to be patient with you, but you just don't seem to be getting it. This is not your playground. The next time you experiment on an active page, as you did to Wikipedia:Protection policy, I will block you from editing forever. Your intentions may be innocent, but if you can't grasp even the simplest concepts of Wikipedia then you can't edit here anymore. I've explained vandalism to you, I've explained how to look at page histories, I've explained how to use your sandbox for tests... I want you to be able to participate, but I can't let you run amok on this site. I'm sorry to say this, but enough is enough. Kafziel Talk 01:03, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
What do you mean? --LSXsound 01:52, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- This is what I mean. What in the world would make you think it would be okay to do that?
- Never mind. I'm done trying to explain. I feel bad, because it seems like you're an innocent 8-year-old who simply doesn't understand what this is. I don't think you're a bad person, and I don't think you're intentionally disrupting Wikipedia, but at this point it just doesn't matter. Intentional or not, you are out of control and I can't let you edit here anymore. Creating LSXsound as your user page (instead of putting it at User:LSXsound where it should have been) was the last straw. Someone had to take the time to move it to the right place, someone else had to take the time to tag it for deletion, and now I have to take the time to delete it. You are now blocked from editing Wikipedia. Kafziel Talk 02:11, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
I'm sorry about the user page thing, that I didn't know about. And the full protection thing, that was an experiment, but, if you are blocking me, please unblock me so I can edit the username change page so I can pack my bags and be on my way. --LSXsound 02:15, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- Nope, you're done. You have no bags to pack, there is nothing you need to edit, and I will not unblock you. Kafziel Talk 02:19, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
The only thing I'd do is change my username to sdfghjjkfligyduythgfityfj so I wouldn't know what it was. --LSXsound 02:20, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter if you know what your username is. I have disabled it. You can't use it even if you want to. You are done. Kafziel Talk 02:22, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
