Suzanne Schulting represents the Netherlands right???

[edit]

Hi there!

Please can you give me your opinion on something. Yesterday I edited the article on the lovely Suzanne Schulting and I took the liberty of adding country =  Netherlands to her infobox. Then user Lugnuts came along and changed  Netherlands to just Netherlands with no link and no flag. I questioned the edit but he/she just did it again with no explanation. Any idea why? What's your opinion on the matter? The fact that I went in and did the same to all the other speed skaters seems to have escaped Lugnuts' attention ;)

Also, please take a look at the Aileen Riggin article now that I've (almost) finished messing about with it. I've changed the image but in the end I just edited the name of the existing image file so you could say I cheated!

But just to prove I can do it, here's a picture for you...

And keep an eye on the 2018 Winter Olympics page because this week I will be doing something drastic that will cause all Hell to let loose... Oh, and I agreed whole heartedly with your comment on the talk page about Srobidx. The fact that he/she has failed to contribute to the discussion just shows a lack of integrity.

Hi again! While I'd regard some actions of user:Lugnuts as demotivational (e.g. this seems unnecessarily crass) (and greeting visitors of his talk page with "push me and I will resist" doesn't encourage friendly debate), he has a point with WP:INFOBOXFLAG as referenced with his second revert (which brings the total for you two on three. WP:EW comes to mind).
Good work on the images. Am curious about the Olympics page, but Wikipedia isn't exactly top of my priority list this week so I'll see that when I see that ;-)
Edit: by the way, Netherlands instead of Netherlands seems very much appropriate. Aaaaaaaaand I forgot my signature again - LRataplan (talk) 14:13, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up re. WP:INFOBOXFLAG - I'd not even noticed that in Lugnuts' comment. Makes sense. Changed it to Netherlands!

If we can include it i think we should JamesVilla44 (talk) 09:28, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@JamesVilla44:, thanks for your support! Apparently, there's going to be a little discussion on the F1 talk page, if there is a lot of opposition I'd appreciate if you voiced your opinion there as well. Cheers! LRataplan (talk) 11:27, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
