Hello @DoubleGrazing,
First, thanks for looking at our draft so fast and thanks for your time and feedback.
I would like to ask you if you can check the submission of our page again out of the following reason: We know the existing page and it is a really poor and small Wikipedia page with only one sentence. After submitting our draft we wanted to merge the two of them to end with only one Wikipedia page about that topic. It would be great if that is possible.
Kind regards, LIUC27Marlene (talk) 15:16, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no easy way to merge articles, it is all done by manual editing.
You're welcome to incorporate content from your draft into the existing article, either bit-by-bit or wholesale; I'd probably recommend the former approach. Make sure to leave edit comments each time so that others can see what you've done and why.
This is pretty much the way Wikipedia articles evolve. Someone starts with a short stub, someone else fleshes out the details, possibly restructures or rearranges the contents, adds images, etc. And hopefully, one day that stub may have turned into one of our good articles. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:25, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
