Unotretre
Hey LFaraone, congrats on your appointment! Would you mind being a little more verbose at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Unotretre? Since I only endorsed a check on one account, I can't tell if your "confirmed" is with respect to the one account I endorsed on, or both accounts listed. Thanks! - Done. My apologies; it seemed "obvious" to me what I meant when I was writing it, but I admit when looking back I had to rerun the check to make sure I could give the correct explanation. So, it wasn't quite so obvious to me after the fact either <_<. I'll be more verbose in the future, thanks for the note. LFaraone 20:01, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
Relisting debates
Hi there, I was just closing a load of AFDs and noticed that some were still showing as outstanding despite the fact the AfD was showing that you'd relisted them. Looking at it, they hadn't been moved from one day's list to the other. Curious, I looked at your contribs and it looks like the problem arises when you relist two AfDs very quickly after each other. Since the relist script takes a while to save everything, I'd say that the second relist had started whilst the first one was still running, and the second one then fails - it posts the relist message, but doesn't move the AfD. For examples, have a look at your contribs at 00:54 and 00:33 on 29 August. You'll see that there are two relists at the same time, and the second one (in these two cases Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adam Kadmon (character) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bombadil Publishing (2nd nomination)) doesn't get moved. I've never noticed this happening before, so it might be something that's just started with all the changes to the software. Anyway, I just thought I'd warn you about it. Article Feedback Tool update
Hey LFaraone. I'm contacting you because you're involved in the Article Feedback Tool in some way, either as a previous newsletter recipient or as an active user of the system. As you might have heard, a user recently anonymously disabled the feedback tool on 2,000 pages. We were unable to track or prevent this due to the lack of logging feature in AFT5. We're deeply sorry for this, as we know that quite a few users found the software very useful, and were using it on their articles.
We've now re-released the software, with the addition of a logging feature and restrictions on the ability to disable. Obviously, we're not going to automatically re-enable it on each article—we don't want to create a situation where it was enabled by users who have now moved on, and feedback would sit there unattended—but if you're interested in enabling it for your articles, it's pretty simple to do. Just go to the article you want to enable it on, click the "request feedback" link in the toolbox in the sidebar, and AFT5 will be enabled for that article.
Again, we're very sorry about this issue; hopefully it'll be smooth sailing after this :). If you have any questions, just drop them at the talkpage. Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) 22:10, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
15:38, 11 June 2013 LFaraone (talk | contribs) deleted page User:Stemlink/sandbox (WP:BLP issues.)
Hello Lafaraone, How are you? I have been trying to figure out how to remove or edit a posting that I believe you once deleted and now it has been restored.
19:41, 11 June 2013 Keegan (talk | contribs) restored page User:Stemlink/sandbox (11 revisions restored: suppressing) 15:38, 11 June 2013 LFaraone (talk | contribs) deleted page User:Stemlink/sandbox (WP:BLP issues.) 15:35, 11 June 2013 LFaraone (talk | contribs) changed visibility of 6 revisions on page User:Stemlink/sandbox: content hidden (RD5: Other valid deletion under Deletion Policy)
I was wondering if you could help me remove this page. Also if we could discuss this matter in further detail. Thanks for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fistoftulkus (talk • contribs) 11:22, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
- The content is still deleted, but has also been suppressed. LFaraone 13:29, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
ask the complete material that you deleted
I try to get the formal information regarding the FSA-Red Algorithm in wikipedia. And the information stopped to deletion page, which showed the information about the creator of the algorithm is deleted by you. Where i can find the complete material related to the topic?, seems wiki do not cover the information completely. ```` — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.111.48.197 (talk) 01:00, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
- The article was deleted pursuant to a deletion discussion, accessible at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Feri Sulianta, where it was determined the subject was not notable under Wikipedia's guidelines. I'm sorry that the deleted text of the article will not be made available. LFaraone
Deletion review for Saudi Arabia and terrorism
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Saudi Arabia and terrorism. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Z 14:37, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
A cup of tea for you!
