Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Dirty Dancing, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.. Also, please be aware that it's considered bad form to use a misleading summary such as "Correcting typos", when in actuality you are making a content change.[1] Please let me know if you have any questions, --Elonka 18:40, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
About the link you're requesting mediation on, we do have a BLP Policy that frowns upon bloglike links put into pages. I don't belive that mediation is the right road for this dispute. If you feel that it is in fact helpful, you can state your case at WP:BLP/N. Wizardman 21:27, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Your edits at Albert Pujols
[edit]I've removed your addition from Albert Pujols. It seems like the material might belong at KFUO-FM as it just barely has anything to do with Pujols. I'd also caution you to maintain a neutral point of view WP:NPOV in these edits. -- Why Not A Duck 18:59, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Albert Pujols is THE major contributor to the move to eliminate the classical music format at KFUO. Although the rest of the country is unaware of his involvement, this has been a major controversy in St. Louis for the past several months. I do apologize if my tone did not sound neutral - I am a big fan of Albert and did not want to be seen as trying to protect him by defending his position, so I tried to err on the side of caution and not be a cheerleader for him in the article. -- Kyndcat 19:27, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
- That information belongs in the article on the station, as it's only tangentially related to Pujols as a player and a person. Just because he finances it doesn't mean it belongs in his article. KV5 (Talk • Phils) 19:35, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
It's not just that he's the major financer of the move to eliminate KFUO's classical music format, it's also something he is proud of and he considers it part of his mission to spread the gospel to as wide of an audience as possible. If his religious beliefs and convictions are not allowed to be mentioned on his Wikipedia page, please let me know so that all references to his religious views can be removed. Thank you. -- Kyndcat 19:40, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
