You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Twenty20 Stock Photography, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Request reason:

Your reason here I was attempting to create a page for my business, Twenty20 but seemed to have used incorrect language in describing the business. It was not my intention to input spammy or advertising-like language. If I am unblocked, I promise to create a page for my business Twenty20 that abides by the Wikipedia guidelines. Thank you.

Decline reason:

There's no reason to unblock you if you're just here to promote a non-notable business. OhNoitsJamie Talk 18:38, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

No, actually, Wikipedia is not a business directory, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. You can't create article about your company unless your company is WP:NOTABLE (please, read linked page), i.e. it has been discussed in multiple reliable independent sources. Was it? Can you show us that your company is notable? Vanjagenije (talk) 18:27, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I can show that my company, Twenty20 is notable. Please see the links following: TechCrunch - 10/16/13: http://techcrunch.com/2013/10/16/instacanvas-rebrands-as-twenty20-launches-stock-photography-service/

Request reason:

Why is Shutterstock considered a notable company and Twenty20 is not? We compete with them in the same space. Accept reason:

I'm unblocking you in the understanding that you now know WP:COI and will not directly edit articles within your COI. You are free to create draft(s) a submit it to WP:AFC and to propose changes on talk pages. Vanjagenije (talk) 08:01, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • OK, I am quite impressed that you have read and understood WP:NOTABILITY in five minutes. Now, let's go to the next step. Actually, two at once:
    • Wikipedia only allows user accounts to be used by individuals and on behalf of themselves (i.e. account must not be used by a group or on behalf of a group, see: WP:ISU and WP:ROLE). It's not just the username. The account must not be used on behalf of a group regardless of its username. In the comment above, you refer to yourself as "we" which implies that you want to use this account on behalf of your company. You have to state clearly that the account will only be used by you and not on behalf of your company.
    • WP:NEUTRALITY is one of so called "pillars" of Wikipedia. Take time to read our WP:COI guideline. You obviously have a conflict of interest regarding your company. As you see in WP:COI, COI editing is strongly discouraged. That means that you should not write articles about subjects you are personally connected to, about your company for example. But, you are able to propose a draft article through our WP:Article for creation program and to let other more experienced users review it. So, please, indicate that you understand Conflict of interest and that you will not be making direct COI edits to articles. Vanjagenije (talk) 19:32, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
    )
    • I understand the conflict of interest at hand and I will not be making any direct COI edits to articles. Please let me know when I can be unblocked and have the approval to propose a new article through the "Article for creation" program. Thanks!Kylejax.twenty20 (talk) 21:31, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I was just having this discussion at the help desk earlier today and this appears an interesting case...my understanding is that COI does not prevent a person from creating an article or at least drafting an article for creation...if the article is written in accordance with policy and the subject is notable (which it appears it may be in this case) then the article should be accepted...I suppose he would then have to propose future changes on the talk page and declare his coi????68.48.241.158 (talk) 23:20, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You should clearly disclose your WP:COI (see: WP:DISCLOSE). Feel free to ask me on my talk page if you need some help. Vanjagenije (talk) 08:03, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
