The Invisible Edge
[edit]The article The Invisible Edge has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Also, see WP:SPAM. NawlinWiki (talk) 23:50, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
More invisible edge
[edit]While much of your additions seem good, I think users would get the impression that you're promoting this work. I'd like to give you the opportunity to revise you additions so that they don't seem so spammy. Otherwise they might be removed altogether. See WP:PROMO. Cool Hand Luke 23:35, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Ralph Eckardt
[edit]A tag has been placed on Ralph Eckardt requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. --JekShadowtalk 23:44, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
Invisible Edge and Patent Reform Act
[edit]The observations from Invisible Edge are interesting, but do not directly address the provisions of the patent reform act. Will the authors be publishing anything related to the new 2009 version? That might make a good addition.--Nowa (talk) 12:15, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Ralph Eckardt
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ralph Eckardt, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Non-notable consultant. Failed WP:BIO.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD Nomination: Ralph Eckardt
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem that Ralph Eckardt meets these criteria, an editor has started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.
Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ralph Eckardt. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.
Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, a neutral third party will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. Edcolins (talk) 20:30, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

Yet more Invisible Edge
[edit]Please stop spamming Intellectual Property with links to the book you are apparently promoting. See WP:CITE and WP:FURTHER for guidelines on such a section. If you still believe it's an appropriate work to add, please discuss it on the article's talk page, Talk:Intellectual property and get a consensus to that effect. Your continued spamming is now reaching vandalism levels. TJRC (talk) 21:05, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cambridge Associates, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Institutional Investor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:17, 30 October 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Africapitalism
[edit]A tag has been placed on Africapitalism requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
This "article" is perhaps more like a describing the subject. It looks like one of a complex web of puffery-laced articles, possibly all written by undisclosed paid throwaway accounts linked to Tony O. Elumelu. The use of Wikipedia for PR purposes is forbidden. Please delete this article per CSD G11 and WP:NOTFORPROMOTION. Thank you for your time
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —Unforgettableid (talk) 00:49, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
