I have my doubts, but there is another one who reverted. See 114.180.228.56. It's impossible for me to tell which is correct, though.Nevermind. You're not active right now. I'll notify someone else. mechamind90 18:21, 8 April 2011 (UTC)- Thank you for helping out with this mess. Dear Kusma,
Sorry for this temporary vandalism warning, it's an error on my behalf. Sincerely, Xionbox₪ 09:27, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- No problem :) I'm reverting a banned user, and may be reverting okay contributions sometime, which looks like vandalism. Happy editing, —Кузьма討論 09:28, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
Blocks
Hi Kusma,
I know you've had a lot of trouble with a sock-puppeting issue, and I ran into the guy today. One thing that might be really helpful when people are trying to follow what's going on, and attempting to trace your steps would be to leave a clear and specific block reason on the user talk page - not to communicate with that user, obviously, but so that the rest of us know what's going on. Some of your blocks (see here) include just the edit summary "block evasion", but no notification about who the original ban is on. I know it will slow you down, but given that it's not an incredibly frequent block, I think it makes sense to do that. Would you consider it, as a help to the rest of us? Philippe Beaudette, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 18:09, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- You are right. When I block for ban evasion, I should always link to the account name. At least in the block summary. On the talk pages, I'm not so certain it makes sense (so I only tag the accounts): when the block expires, I don't think anybody new on the IP will need to see the messages.
- Anyway, if you need more information, feel free to ask me (by email if needed for privacy). Also, I'm not sure that I'm handling this case the best way possible, nor what that way is. If you have advice, I'd also like to hear it. Thank you for your note! —Кузьма討論 19:30, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
Sheynhertz-Unbayg sockpuppets
Thank you for going thru and fixing alot of the vandalism. I've gone thru all the talk pages they touched to make sure they are back to "normal". I'm not certain what to do about the edits to categories and articles. Some seem ok, others I'm not sure about. I can go thru those that you haven't gotten to if you can give me some guidance on what to do. Looks like you have been having fun with this fun-filled sockmaster for awhile. You have my condolences. Bgwhite (talk) 19:38, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- It is even more fun when you try to talk to him. I don't really know much about the categories. I sometimes delete them by CSD G5, sometimes leave them. I try to clean up the disambig pages to conform to the MoS:DP. Some much older info about this is at WP:SU. Anyway, thank you for your help! —Кузьма討論 19:48, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
- He is back using 58.93.165.73. He is changing articles that we restored yesterday. I reported it at the current sockpuppet page at the bottom because I didn't know where to put it. Could you check and see if it should go someplace else. Bgwhite (talk) 07:24, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'm sure it will be seen where you put it, or be moved by a clerk. I still hope that a couple more ranges will keep him away for a while, or at least that he'll learn to use Wikiproject templates. But he'll be back, as he has consistently been for the last 4+ years. —Кузьма討論 09:25, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

Sniff, Sniff. I got something so special today I think I'm going to cry because I'm so happy. I've gotten my first insult email via working with Wikipedia. I'd like to thank you for helping me have soooo much "fun" with our favorite sockpuppet. Without your help, I wouldn't receive such an honor. Now I have to decide where to place it around my desk to enjoy it further. Bgwhite (talk) 05:36, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- I'm glad that it makes you happy. I recently blocked another range for 3 months, don't know how many he has left. And yes, I also got told that I will go to hell and what a bad person I am (as if I didn't know). Happy editing —Кузьма討論 06:37, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- That is a relief... I'll know somebody when I'm in hell. Hmmm, we will probably be working in Hell to vandalize Heaven's wiki pages. Bgwhite (talk) 06:16, 26 May 2011 (UTC)

Austro-Bavarian surnames et all
Is there a particular reason you don't see this in scope of WP:Germany? Agathoclea (talk) 06:43, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- I reverted banned User:Sheynhertz-Unbayg there. I agree that the categories fall under the scope of WP Germany, but I didn't have time to edit all these pages manually (I guess you'll agree they're not FA-class Germany pages). Do with them what you like (I have zero interest in categories and in their categorization). Happy Easter, —Кузьма討論 09:26, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
Deleted
I agree. I think it would probably best to delete most of them as some of them are not even visible on a google map...♦ Dr. Blofeld 08:22, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

Raul Locsin
Greetings! I am the grandson of Raul Locsin and I would like to provide information for his page. Regards, Mario Mariogalvez (talk) 11:42, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
- I certainly won't stop you. I deleted Raul Locsin a long time ago because the article was copied from somewhere else. I don't know whether he meets our inclusion guidelines for biographies, though. Also, any information you may add will need to be verifiable from reliable sources (we can't take your word for it). Welcome and happy editing! —Кузьма討論 11:47, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Delta Quad's RfA
Hello Kusma, I saw you replied after my comment at DeltaQuad's request for adminship. I know you reverted your comment, but did you find something objectionable about my remarks? If so, I would be interested in hearing about it, as I meant no offence. Regards, Skomorokh 14:00, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
- I wasn't answering your comment, but Juliancolton's. Then I remembered that I had decided to only vote, never comment in RfAs, and self-reverted. (I know that I'm the only one who thinks that the problem in RfAs is in the discussion, not the voting). Hope that clears it up, —Кузьма討論 14:06, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
- Ah I see, thanks for clarifying and sorry for the bother. Ciao, Skomorokh 14:08, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
