what do people mean when they say to leave a signature?
[edit]- i dont even have a signature, how am i supposed to leave one?
- At the end of what you've written in Wikipedia talk pages, type "~" 4 times in a row. This will leave your digital signature. If you have trouble finding this symbol on your keyboard, there is a copy and paste section at the bottom of each edit window. There to the top right of these windows the is an example to copy paste from.
- when in the editing window look directly below where it reads Do not copy text from other websites without permission. It will be deleted, under that, it reads sign your name, the symbols to the right is what you type to fill your signature.
- I hope that makes sense. Wiki ian 08:27, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- I noticed in you last message on my talk page you still are no leaving your signature, all you have to do is type (~~~~) at the end of what you've written in talk pages (like mine). for more information i suggest you visit Sign your posts on talk pages. Wiki ian 02:37, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
