[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at User talk:Materialscientist, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. Chris Troutman (talk) 21:10, 11 October 2019 (UTC)

Giving advice
[edit]Hi, regarding your reply at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(miscellaneous)#Behaviour_of_an_anonymous_user, please note that editors without an account can not "gain the ability to edit extended protected articles". Please don't be too keen to help yet; take your time to get accustomed to Wikipedia's procedures before giving advice to other users. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:42, 14 October 2019 (UTC)

User page
[edit]After Captainllama's observation about your user page, it only took a minute to find that it looks a lot like User:BD2412. --Fru1tbat (talk) 16:41, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
- Particularly given the fact that you're linking to my lists of contributions, and you have a badge specified for editors who have been here for many years and have hundreds of thousands of edits. Get rid of everything here that misrepresents you. bd2412 T 18:41, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
