Welcome to Wikipedia - a primer on sourcing

[edit]

Hi there, after our brief conversation at Manichaeism, I had a peek at your edit background and noticed you'd had a similar issue in conversations surrounding the death of Muhammad. If you are in fact currently studying Theology, that's great! You probably have access to a decent library. If you want to make improvements to articles, the best way to get those improvements made is to cite reliable secondary sources. Now I will note the other issue here, while Wikipedia is built on the assumption of good faith we are pseudonomous. So, for instance, while I claim to be a PMP with a BA in sociology who writes science fiction novels, any contributions I do to those areas will depend on my ability to identify and apply the information in reliable sources and not my claim of expertise. I do hope this helps you to effectively contribute to Wikipedia going forward and welcome to the project! Simonm223 (talk) 19:07, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
