Solar altitude is an angle that measures how high the sun is in the sky. To find the sun's altitude, take the line from the observer to the sun and project it onto the ground (a projection that is normal to the ground-plane). The sun's altitude is the angle between the projection and the line to the sun.

Speedy deletion of Solar altitude

I just changed the text, don't delete it.

Use the hangon tag on the article, and update the article's' talk page, not here. Ged UK (talk) 20:40, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Synchronization construct moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Synchronization construct, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 15:20, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, is there any chance you could restore this draft? And, could you say the checklist that I need to pass in order to prevent future deletion?
Thanks, Sean Kshalle (talk) 01:03, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Based on your email, I have restored the article, Embedded style language. Your email, said I nominated it for deletion, I did not. I did delete it. I did not see where you or anyone else had contested the deletion. In the future if someone nominates an article using the PROD process, all you have to do to contest the deletion is remove the PROD template. ~ GB fan 13:03, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, your message above says that you restored the article.. unfortunately something went wrong because it is not currently there. Did I miss something? Does it need more work in order to remain? I am a technical person in the field, but not familiar with wikipedia process. Can really use help navigating. Thanks :-) Kshalle (talk) 01:00, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
