[edit]Hello, I'm Aishik Rehman. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to UFC Fight Night: Aspinall vs. Tybura—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Aishik Rehman (talk) 04:56, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
UFC 291
[edit]Hello,
I have reverted recent edits you’ve made to UFC 291. You should never add unsourced information, even if you know the information to be accurate. It’s not about what’s true, but rather what we can prove with sources. Also, we don’t add background information for every fight on the card. Generally this section is only reserved for main events, title fights, and fights that had some sort of history such as an opponent change or were previously booked.
I highly recommend observing for a while to get an idea of how things are done as well as practicing with sandbox. Please feel free to reach out to me or any one of the numerous other experienced users if you have any questions. We are here to help. Sdpdude9 (talk) 13:50, 10 July 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Khamzat Chimaev. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. The advice above is useful. TylerBurden (talk) 22:14, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
UFC 293
[edit]I have reverted recent edits you made to UFC 293. We do not add fights that are rumored, in the works, planned, etc. Only fights that have a source that indicates the fight is official and signed. At that point, the bout should be put in the “Announced bouts” and you may add background information if necessary, citing your sources in both sections. Next, we need to wait for UFC Events Page to show the bout as official before changing the name of the article to reflect the headliner or to add the bout to the “Main Card” section.
It may seem tedious but there is a process that must be followed in order to maintain accurate information. Things can also be quite confusing so please feel free to reach out to me or another experienced editor if you are unsure or have any questions. We are here to help. UFC 295
[edit]I have reverted you edits to UFC 295. Do not add bouts that are targeted, planned, in the works, rumored, etc. Only official and/or signed. Sdpdude9 (talk) 16:58, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

-Never add anything that is unsourced as you did in the announced bouts section.

ESPN, UFC sites - no independentl source and social media and sportsdeeka not reliable source
[edit]Hi Krypton 321 as per your edit on UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs. Shevchenko 2 - pls note that source from ESPN and UFC are considered not independent for UFC events or UFC fighters' pages as fighters/UFC events are related to UFC and ESPN has a contract with UFC so ESPN is considered not independent. (also since I have here - all social media and Sportkeeda are considered not reliable source). So pls only provide independent, reliable source are needed when adding or changing the content of Wikipedia pages for verification. Thank you. Cassiopeia talk 04:29, 19 August 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Joanderson Brito
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Joanderson Brito requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
