Artist section at OWS
[edit]Just a courtesy notification that I changed the section header to "Artist participation" for now. If you object and wish it returned I will not object to it. Just seemed like the information is more about support and actual participation in the protests at it's current form on the article.--Amadscientist (talk) 01:40, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Never give up! You're a "newbie" Wikipedian and you're the most protected class of editors. You're allowed to edit, make mistakes, learn, make mistakes and get sent to read a policy, edit, make mistakes, learn, etc... You got a great genuineness about you, and you work well with people, and social collaboration is so very fitting for you. You'll fall in love with Wikipedia if you can overcome the first initial humps of disappointment, and in the end, you'll find the most tremendous and rewarding satisfaction by helping create an ad-free Wikipedia available to all 6 billion people on earth. Knowledge is the goal of Wikipedia, and empowerment is the benefit we give to readers. As long as you "think big" and think "long term" then you'll see these first couple crippling battles not as a defeat, but as a victory, because everybody who has been here a long time has endured the "newbie scars" but they all have grown stronger, and now treat newbies even more gently, because everyone has gone through the conflicts which you are now just beginning. You're on a long road, and I hope you'll get back to work, especially on this article I've recently created for you: http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=List_of_notable_Occupy_Wall_Street_supporters&action=edit Cheer up! You've already amassed people who like your edits and agree with you, but they're just the "bandwagon effect" I've talked about. You're their leader, and now it's time to lead--you'll thank me once you're back to making great edits. Until then, give my advice a try ;-) and also expand your bio a little bit. I'm always watching over your edits and you're doing fine, but you're not truly unleashing your passion like was apparent on October 23rd. You'll be surprised how much support you'll receive after a couple weeks of lovely editing. Until then, watch this documentary about the true origins of pizza, and then re-focus, re-vamp your spirits, and realize your dream potential. You're part of something great by being involved with OWS, 완젬스 (talk) 22:42, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
