Disambiguation link notification for October 20
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rail transport in Azerbaijan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ağdam (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello! There is a DR/N request you may have interest in.
[edit]This message is being sent to let you know of a discussion at the Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding a content dispute discussion you may have participated in. Request reason:
A moderator "Future Perfect at Sunrise" without verifying the IP to ascertain the report, blocked my account on being a sockuppet of an indefinately banned user Saguamundi. I don’t know why the moderator thought I am a sockpuppet of that blocked user. Absolutely no justification and reasoning has been given by the moderator and I am falsely been accused of being something I'm not. The last article I edited was the climate section of the Istanbul article. I want to know what compelled the moderator to block me, and why he/she thougt that I am connected to the previous IP users who edited the exact same climate section, which he/she reverted but are correct, despite the two IP users' vandalistic methods. I have never edited without logging in Wikipedia and never resorted to vandalism. But somehow the moderator falsely thinks that I am the same user with the IP users and the above mentioned blocked user. I request this unjust block to be undone.
Decline reason:
A quick examination of the evidence leads me to conclude as well that you are a sock of the banned user. only (talk) 13:00, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Three points:
- Administrators (what you call "moderators") cannot see users' IP addresses. This is limited to checkusers, and they are obligated to abide by the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy.
- Behaviour-based blocks are routine, and are based on what we call the "Duck test".
- You became active shortly after Saguamundi got blocked.
- Given these, you're not likely to get unblocked. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 19:41, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
