Regarding edits to Talk:Pokemon

[edit]

Please remain civil. Swearing and calling other editors 13-year olds is offensive, and may get you blocked. -Amarkov blahedits 02:18, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jessica Alba Photo on your user page

[edit]

Sorry for reverting your previous work done under an IP. I thought it was someone valdalizing your page. Anyway, it appears that you are trying to a photo of questionable copyright to appear on your userpage. Just warning you in advance that someone is going to delete it as you can't have copyrighted images (at best, the one you uploaded *might* be fair use in an article, but not on a user page) on your user page. Torchic

Hello. Unfortunately, your statement contradicted itself. Because Wikipedia is a "breakthrough of knowledge and communication", it is able to communicate knowledge about additional topics, such as pop culture. Please present mature arguements not misplaced as mature, and please edit Wikipedia in a construcitve manner, and I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself participating in this "breakthrough of knowledge and communication". We encourage constructive edits from anyone. If you dislike pokemon, focus production elsewhere, and please cite your sources if you are interested in editing. — Deckiller 02:38, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Meh, just because it is "able" to educate the world on such useless topics as Pokemon species doesn't mean it should --24.235.57.184 01:41, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Your message on my user page

[edit]

People normally leave messages on other users "discussion" pages, but no matter. As you can see, I already left you a message above about reverting the changes made to your user page. Because the changes were made with an IP address, instead of with your account, and looked a little sketchy, I assumed someone was trying to vandalize your user page and reverted them. Apologies for the mistake. Caper13 03:07, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your question on the MT talk page

[edit]

I saw your question on the Masterpiece Theatre talk page. While I don't have a answer for you I wanted to let you know that this page doesn't get a whole lot of traffic so it might be sometime before someone replies. I would suggest that you might try the Village Pump where bunchs of wikipedians are helping each other all of the time. I hope that this gets you some answers to your question. It's GA now if that makes you feel better.--Clyde (talk) 02:58, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I feel much better, now I think I will be able to get some sleep tonight. Thanks...
oh, and Clyde? Just... keep doing what you're doing. You're a good guy Clyde. I just wanted you to know that. --Krakko 00:33, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. I'm not too good at conveying emotion through word, but it certaintly made my day better.--Clyde (talk) 00:40, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey I've been considering FAC, but the article's a little short. You're the only person I know who's played the game. Is there anything I'm missing? Maybe in gameplay or something?--Clyde (talk) 02:35, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well you got all the technical bits down, but I think it should mention how 1080 defined the Snowboarding genre, and introduced a lot of new players to extreme sports games where they would otherwise be a niche genre. You could also mention how it went for realism, while later games like SSX leaned towards more impossible tricks and stunts --Krakko 19:14, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. You and I know these truths to be self evident, but I must find a source for them. I'll see what I can dig up and try to put them in reception if I do.--Clyde (talk) 21:25, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have the 1080 manual and a scanner by chance?--Clyde (talk) 03:43, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, sorry.. I just have the game cartridge, that's all --24.235.57.184 21:39, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
