Hi, sorry for the delay. I don’t know if you remember but you told me to comeback to this page after 6 months and try to appeal. English is not my first language neither is my second, therefore I wanted to ask you 2 questions: (1) if I can appeal directly to you in this talk page as an admin instead of all the bureaucracy process of appealing which I find difficult. (2) just wanted to say that back then when I was first blocked few years ago I was a teenager and not quite understanding anything on the rules and manners of Wikipedia. I didn’t even knew that Wikipedia even had admins. I knew nothing. My foolish mistakes as a teenager brought me here today as I’m typing this message to you. I don’t ask for forgiveness. All i asked is a second chance. I have so much to contribute on African history and in particular Horn of Africa history as well as Near East history. I know I maybe asking for a lot, but to get ban for life from Wikipedia is something that I don’t think is fair.

P.S:

I wanted to say that Wikipedia blocked many accounts whose had nothing with me whatsoever but yet were accused of being a sock accounts of mine.
Also, I wanted to appeal from the original sock account as I understood that Wikipedia rules demand. However, i do not remember the password of the original sock account (Gabi838r) and I do not have my email link to that account: therefore i can’t use the option of “forgot password”.

Hello Korem637, you are currently banned by the English Wikipedia community, not an individual English Wikipedia administrator. You can thus not directly appeal to a specific English Wikipedia administrator.

English is not my first language either, but I understand how difficult it must be as a third or fourth language. However, you'll need to ask yourself why you'd like to edit the English Wikipedia instead of just editing the Wikipedia of your first or second language. Please give it a try. You haven't even visited a different Wikipedia than he. and en. with your account yet, so there's at least one other Wikipedia in a language you speak better than English yet haven't opened with your account so far.

Please try contributing to a Wikipedia in a different language and building a reputation there before appealing your block on the English Wikipedia. I wasn't aware of this issue or I would have recommended this earlier. The block on the English Wikipedia does not prevent you from contributing to other Wikipedias.
