Hi there, as a long-time editor of 70s Bowie articles (though these days I spend most of time on military history) I just wanted to say thanks and well done for all the tidying you've been doing lately in that area. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 02:56, 13 April 2014 (UTC) |
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. additions to Beatles article
[edit]Hi. Would you mind adding references to support all those mentions of promo clips appearing on the 1 and 1+ DVDs? I notice you were able to do so for "Hey Jude" (when challenged by an editor there) and "Revolution". Like those two song articles, "Something", "Hello, Goodbye", "Strawberry Fields" and "Day in the Life" (and possibly others) are all up at either Good or Featured status, so it's important to ensure they retain their quality rating. That's not to say that non-GA/FAs don't require sources – of course they do …
Thank you, JG66 (talk) 04:50, 3 January 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm FlightTime. I noticed that you made a change to an article, "Heroes" (David Bowie song), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 01:17, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:40, 14 November 2017 (UTC)

Excellent work rectifying all the incorrect track numbering across album articles. And do not worry if it gets undone every now and then by less informed editors. I have warned the editor who recently reverted you and informed him of the value of your contributions. Dan56 (talk) 21:55, 10 March 2019 (UTC) |

[edit]Thanks
[edit]Hi Koossepa! I just wanted to say thanks for helping me out with Bowie's articles. I realize I can be a bit careless when it come to certain things. Also, this is long overdue, but I'm very sorry we got off to a bad start. Again, appreciate the help :-) – zmbro (talk) 16:27, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
