How about you go edit all wiki pages for the teams names to their sponsor names lmao Gunkot (talk) 05:38, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2021–22 BC Žalgiris season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Turkey Time. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:06, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Konepe123

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Stuartyeates, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, 2023–24 King Mindaugas Cup, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Stuartyeates}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

@Stuartyeates:
Hello. I'm just confused as to why 2023 Italian Basketball Cup page also isn't considered for deletion, as it also has one primary source? It is very hard to find secondary sources from basketball domestic cups, especially in English, so if using the same logic, should most of basketball domestic cup pages be considered for deletion?
Konepe123 (talk) 10:55, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Stuartyeates: (a) I never saw 2023 Italian Basketball Cup before you mentioned it, but there appear to be sources in google (b) sources do not need to be in English. Stuartyeates (talk) 18:09, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Stuartyeates:
Oh ok. So if I understand correctly, even though the tournament is proved to be happening by livescore websites, there still shouldn't be wiki page for it, because no one really bothers to report on it?
Konepe123 (talk) 19:30, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Stuartyeates:
Ok, I've found some sources in Lithuanian, still not entirely sure if they are good enough, since they basically say the same things on all of them.
Konepe123 (talk) 19:36, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What you need is secondary sources which cover the Cup in detail, language is independent. I strongly suggest you start by working to understand what a secondary source is. Stuartyeates (talk) 02:16, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
