This is your Talk page where you can receive messages from other Wikipedians and discuss things with them. At the end of your messages you must put your signature by signing with four ~~~~ or by pressing the button in the editor bar as shown here in the picture. By the way, you don't need to sign edits that you make in the articles themselves as those messages will be deleted. Another valuable page that may provide information and assistance is User:Persian Poet Gal/"How-To" Guide to Wikipedia. My name is Buster7. If you have any questions or face any initial hurdles, feel free to contact me on my talk page and I will do what I can to assist. Good Luck editing!Buster Seven Talk 02:02, 11 December 2011 (UTC) |
Invitation to wikiFeed
[edit]Hello Kiwigirl3850,
I'm part of a team that is researching ways to help Wikipedia editors find interesting content to contribute to Wikipedia. More specifically, we are investigating whether content from news sources can be used to enhance Wikipedia editing. We have created a tool, called wikiFeed, that allows you to specify Twitter and/or RSS feeds from news sources that are interesting to you. wikiFeed then helps you make connections between those feeds and Wikipedia articles. We believe that using this tool may be a lot of fun, and may help you come up with some ideas on how to contribute to Wikipedia in ways that interest you. Please participate! To do so, complete this survey and follow this link to our website. Once you're there, click the "create an account" link to get started.
For more information about wikiFeed, visit our project page. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via my talk page, or by email at wikifeedcc@gmail.com. We appreciate your time and hope you enjoy playing with wikiFeed!
Thanks! FifthCrow (talk) 21:03, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 19
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Society for Pentecostal Studies, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages James Beaty and David Daniels (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:03, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
Fahlbusch, Encyclopedia of Christianity
[edit]Kia ora. I somehow doubt that it is appropriate to undertake a campaign to add the Fahlbusch Encyclopedia of Christianity to so many articles as recommended reading. Even now it seems excessive, but by the time you get from the A articles to the Z articles it will be quite evidently so. That is at least my opinion. Esoglou (talk) 18:56, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
The Wikipedia Library needs you!
[edit]Did you know that Wikipedia has its own library? The Wikipedia Library is seeking volunteers from those in galleries, libraries, archives and museums.
- Become an account coordinator to distribute research accounts to editors
- Get involved in some of our special projects:
- Expand our Resources page with free resources for editors in all subject areas
- Help develop a template for citing archival collections
- Write guides to accessing and using library resources

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
