Dispute resolution on St Helens RLFC

[edit]

You have reverted the same claim three times now. Further such action will not be tolerated before resolving the dispute between yourself and Ymron on the article's talk page, where I have provided a section for you to put your argument across. You may also wish to read the guidelines on dispute resolution before posting there. Many thanks, GW(talk) 15:37, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Further to this message, you have again reverted the claim in question. Please use the article's talk page to resolve this dispute. For your information, I have refered this to the Rugby league Wikiproject where I have asked for further feedback. GW(talk) 22:30, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be involved in an edit war, according to the reverts you have made on St Helens RLFC. If you edit disruptively including breaking the three-revert rule you may be blocked without further warning.

  • If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards a version that represents consensus among editors.
  • Alternatively you can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection.
  • Do not edit war even if you think you are right.

Continuing to edit St Helens RLFC in the manner you have been doing without first achieving consensus may result in the suspension of this account. Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:48, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

If, when this block expires, you continue with this edit war to remove content from St Helens RLFC against consensus, you will most likely be blocked for longer - perhaps even indefinitely. You cannot win this content dispute by edit-warring - the only way you will succeed in making your change is by discussing it on the Talk page and getting a consensus. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 23:42, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
