Request to reconsider deletion of Louisa Connolly-Burnham

[edit]

Hi King of Hearts,

I wondered if you would reconsider the deletion of Louisa Connolly-Burnham's wiki entry?

She is going to be the lead character in the Christmas special of the BBC's highest rating drama Call the Midwife and soon to star alongside David Mitchell in the Friday Download Movie.

Also she has over 35,000 Twitter followers from her lead role in the BAFTA winning series Wolfblood.

Please reconsider!

look forward to hearing,

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Naterufusfuller (talkcontribs) 16:12, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Under WP:BIO, a person is considered notable if they receive significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources. Could you please present some sources that discuss her work in detail? -- King of 03:36, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

Hey, just wanted to pop in and say thanks for deprecating addOnloadHook in your three scripts. :) If you have a moment, I've also made some changes to Wikipedia:WikiProject User scripts/Scripts/CloseAFD.js which are in Wikipedia:WikiProject User scripts/Scripts/CloseAFD.js/sandbox.js and I've made a PER to get those merged into the live script, and I'll love if you could take a look at it. Thanks! — {{U|Technical 13}} (etc) 03:47, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The SPA IP's of E4024

[edit]

Hello King of Hearts,

The SPA IP address you've blocked quite some time ago is back at it again. The IP's have violated the master accounts topic ban with this edit. The previous case was archived here: Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/E4024/Archive#07_April_2014. You may remember that you had blocked the IP's and the master account on DUCK basis. Please let me know how you can be helpful in this circumstance. Thanks, Étienne Dolet (talk) 05:27, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you blocked the sockpuppet User:Cinemwallz44. Is there any reason why the sockmaster, User:Pass a Method, hasn't been blocked as well? The issue has come up because the user requested a name change across all wikis, and the admin on duty could only regard Pass a Method as a user in good standing (see User talk:Stephen G. Brown#User:Pass a Method). StAnselm (talk) 08:56, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

StAnselm: Because they changed their username to North Atlanticist Usonian, and Pass a Method no longer exists as a user. -- King of 23:54, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
And that confuses me. Aren't they the same user, but with a different name? Or is it regarded as a clean start? StAnselm (talk) 01:49, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It is simply a username change. -- King of 13:48, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Recent change broke script

[edit]

The recent change to your invaluable User:King of Hearts/closerfd.js script seems to have broken it - see discussion at WP:VPT#Scripts stopped working. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 17:31, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

JohnCD, Technical 13: I have reverted the change. -- King of 23:56, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks Ko♥. I overlooked there were other deprecated tidbits when I made the request. I'm just going to work on the replacement for CloseAFD that will be a modular CloseXFD and incorporate some of Mr.Z-mans features into it. I'll add a toggle for a lightweight version that should work well on mobile's and the like for those that have those concerns. — {{U|Technical 13}} (etc) 20:45, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your response.

As far as I'm aware, the last time Wikipedia can have had a record linking our IP addresses was when we were investigating Anders Breivik's contributions to Wikipedia.
