Saturday, April 5 - WikiWomen's Edit-a-thon at the University of California, Berkeley - You are invited!
The University of California, Berkeley's Berkeley Center for New Media is hosting our first edit-a-thon, facilitated by WikiWoman Sarah Stierch, on April 5! This event, focused on engaging women to contribute to Wikipedia, will feature a brief Wikipedia policy and tips overview, followed by a fast-paced energetic edit-a-thon. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Please bring your laptop and be prepared to edit about women and women's history!

The event is April 5, from 1-5 PM, at the Berkeley Center for New Media Commons at Moffitt Library.

Thanks for your response on the Admin vandal board. Whenever I report a vandal, I'm pretty convinced they're doing harm. This user is one of those who will make hundreds and hundreds of edits, and while some of what they do is right, a huge chunk of it is not, and they leave behind a massive cleanup. This editor appears to have had more than enough warnings, yet they don't respond once, don't ever leave an edit summary, and roam wiki doing their stuff. I missed the history of warnings (and their subsequent blankings) when I first reviewed the case. I have blocked them for 24 hours. However, I do not consider their edits to be vandalism, and if the pattern continues after the block expires, I would recommend posting on ANI. -- King of 05:51, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
